More Garden Photos

The garden is beginning to take shape. Marigolds (Disco Mix) are blooming, the Canary Bird Vine is filling in the lattice screen, and the bird bath is ready for customers.

The Lady's Mantle has made a beautiful comeback this season. The leaves have tiny hairs that suspend water droplets, giving it a jeweled look after the rain.

One of our favourite roses, the J.P. Connell explorer rose, emerges as a pale yellow rose and then matures to a very light cream colour.

This red-leafed rose, Rosa rugosa rubrifolia, is also performing well this year. Warm, sunny, days for the past two months has helped a lot.
