This year's new introduction of hybrid lilies include some that have not yet been named. As an early birthday present for Susan, Julia had one of these lilies named 'Susan Ellen', and one was sent to us for our garden.
It was planted yesterday, and we look forward to its bloom next summer.
This is a photo of the 'Susan Ellen' daylily taken at the Hayfield farm. It's a beauty - like her namesake, of course.
