In the Yukon there is a price to pay for the glorious summer weather we've been having. Forest fires. One is 45 km northeast of Whitehorse which is bringing a smokey haze over the whole area.However, it does enable us to take photos like these with the sun setting behind Haeckle Hill, northwest of Whitehorse. This was taken at 10:15 pm last night from the roof of our house.
