Since we are attending a wedding on Prince Edward Island, we thought a visit to Newfoundland would check off one of our bucket list items. Newfoundland is the one Canadian province and territory we had not yet visited.
We were fortunate to have some folks who could show us around, Peter and Jody Clark who moved from Whitehorse to St. John's a year ago, Sandy Hounsell, a former colleague from the Information and Privacy community, and our nephew Steve Topping who spends summers at his place in the Battery part of St. John's harbour.
Here are some photos from our visit.

| With a bit more elevation, and allowing for the wind, we could probably blast that cruise ship right out of the water. |
