Sleepy Fearless Fox

Over the winter we’ve had a couple of foxes in the neighbourhood.  They live in the nearby greenbelt, we think.  But we have to chase them away because we’re concerned that they may go after our Poodle and Pomeranian.  The foxes are now so used to human activity that you almost have to kick them in the arse to get them out of the yard.

So today we’re looking out our front window across the street, and here is one of the foxes laying in the sunshine against the neighbour’s garage door.  By the time Hank got his camera out and ready for a photo, the fox had moved over from in front of the garage door into the shade a bit.  Couldn’t get a picture from the window anymore, so Hank went out into the driveway and then across the street, and eventually up the neighbour’s driveway to get these shots.  At one point the fox lifted his head up, as you can see, but barely opened his eyes.  “Just make yourself at home”, we said.
