We finished planting all of the annuals today, including marigolds (disco granada), pansies (chalon and ultima morpho), schitzanthus (parade mix), petunias (dreams red), snapdragons (dwarf mix), calendula (bon-bon), salvia (farinacea and sizzler mix), nemophila (baby blue eyes), ornamental cabbage (osaka red), ornamental kale, snowland daisies, alyssum, lavatera, godetia, canary bird vine, sweet peas, and nasturtiums.
When everything blooms, it should be quite a show. Here are some start-of-summer photos before all the colour appears. Of course, we have to show off the blossoms of the Crabapple and the Norland Apple, and the Forget-Me-Not blooms – some of the signs of spring.
