'Movember'

The month of November is used around the world to raise awareness of Prostate Cancer. To help do this, men are invited to grow a moustache and help raise funds for fighting this deadly disease.

A slang term for moustache is 'mo', hence the designation of this month as 'Movember'

Hank has decided to get on board and try growing a 'mo'. After nine days, here's the result:

Not too impressive! At a meeting this evening I thought I'd get the jump on people there, and announced that I was growing a moustache. After some peering and head twisting to get the light just right, they had to agree that, yes, it looked like I hadn't shaved under my nose. But they were reluctant to agree it could be classified as a moustache.

Nevertheless, when I explained what it was about, I collected $40 in donations. Terrific.
