End of ‘Movember’

OK, so by the end of ‘Movember’ we have a moustache.  Not exactly Tom Seleck or Lannie McDonald, but not too shabby.  Actually, yesterday one of the people at the riding arena didn’t recognize me at first because she saw the moustache and I had a toque on.  So, I think that’s evidence it actually shows!

Here’s a photo taken this evening by SE, just before I shaved it off. And then another photo of the ‘normal’ me.

Growing the ‘mo’ made me pretty crazy with the itching, and being outside in the cold weather with the post nasal drip – never mind, we don’t need to go there, but you know what I mean.

There have been mixed responses.  Some think it added a level of ‘distinction’.  Others, including SE, say it makes me look older.  Comments are invited.

It was very worthwhile being part of an international public awareness raising effort about men’s health, and particularly prostate cancer.  In Canada  more than 180,000 men registered with the campaign, and we raised over $18,000,000.  Pretty awesome.

Good stache! Movember rocks in Canada and elsewhere. I've got Tom Selleck and Lanny Macdonald and many others in my 2 minute Movember Canada original music video called "Grow a Muzzy - PHOTO version". It's on youtube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmEo6xmaWDo

Hope you like it. If so, share (-:
