These sunny day’s are too nice to stay indoors. On today’s walk I heard some birds twittering away to each other. They sounded like robins, but I knew it was way too early for that. So I prowled around through the trees and saw they were pine grosbeaks. Here’s a picture of the female.
A short time later I found the male, red by contrast, tucked further back in the trees.
