In this photo we can see the final shape of the new addition.
This is great progress!! Yesterday was day 14 since ground was broken for this project.

The roofers came today. In addition to shingling the roof over the new addition, all the shingles from the south side of the house were removed and replaced with the new shingles for uniformity, and to match the carport shingles.
In the meantime, of course, Jim and Joe continue with the interior work.
Here's a rooftop view of the new addition shingling job.
A very efficient roofing crew of 5 - the job was done in about 5 hours.
The plumbers, Gary and Denise, install the water lines and drain pipe for the washing machine. Relocating the stacking washer and dryer from downstairs to the main floor level will be much more efficient.
Joe is busy with the insulation - R20 in the walls, R40 in the ceiling.
At one point in the day, there were 9 people on the work site - 5 roofers, 2 plumbers and Jim & Joe.
