On Thursday, July 10th, the cement truck showed up.

Unfortunately, the concrete for the sonotubes all had to be carried into the back yard, one wheelbarrow load at a time and then shovelled into the tubes. Although contractor Jim had estimated up to three hours for this work, it only took one hour and a half.

We had a bit of concrete left over - enough to fill in the space in front of the greenhouse steps.

After filling the holes around the sonotubes on Friday, the lumber for the main beams arrived on Monday.

In no time, it seemed, the main support beams were in place.
